My first foray into blogging

I am sitting here at the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies conference and I am thinking about the presentation that I saw yesterday by Tony Perkins (AlwaysOn.com) about how blogs are the thing that in the next five years will change the way media interacts with their public.

What's the big thing, I am asking myself. The only way to find out is to try it myself. So, here I go. I don't know if I will continue too long, but we will give it a shot.
